Glorious Freedom

Mental Baggage

The United States had its election a couple of days ago: Trump vs. Biden: “R vs D” “orange hair vs white hair”… The outcome is still up in the air. As of right now, both parties have declared victory. Awkward.

No matter who officially becomes president, if you are a follower of Christ, we are free, a freedom that cannot be taken away. I’m not talking about “rights”, I mean true freedom. If the son has set you free then you are free indeed. John 8:36. (Which has totally been my verse for this year.) Yes, we say God is in control but do we believe it in our hearts? Do we live it out? Do we believe that He will take care of us and provide for us no matter what? We only have to look at the flowers in the field and the birds in the air to remind us. Consider the lilies and all that jazz. Matthew 6

Are we praying because we’re afraid? With a trembling voice and shaky hands, “Oh, God please give me the presidential outcome I want.” Or are we praying with boldness and confidence that the God of the Universe is in control?!

Pray with me!

“God! No man can take away my peace and freedom gifted by You. You and you alone are the provider of my security and strength. You see all and hear all. The corrupt will not prosper forever. You hear our cry for justice. We thank you for your forgiveness and love that is welcome to everyone especially I myself who needs it the most. Thank you, God, for your powerful, POWERFUL love, powerful enough to change lives and through those lives, change nations. Amen!!!”

It’s time to praise God for what he is doing. It’s time to worship! Raise a Hallelujah!!! We are Christians FIRST!! Our security is in Christ not the leader of this nation. Raise A Hallelujah, Way Maker

Be at peace.
